Hatsukame Junmai shu Okabemaru
Description
This is a pure rice sake made with Yamada Nishiki sourced from the local sake rice producers’ organization, Asahina Sake Rice Research Association, using the delicate water and yeast from Shizuoka. It features a gentle ginjo aroma reminiscent of tropical fruits and a rich flavor derived from the Homare Fuji rice. The name “Okabe Maru” comes from a beloved dog known as Maru-chan, who was friendly and well-regarded by the local community. It is hoped that this sake will be cherished by all and provide comfort, just like Maru-chan. Enjoying this sake while reflecting on the beautiful nature of Okabe Town would be a delight. A portion of the proceeds from this product is donated to ARK, a certified NPO focused on animal protection.
