We’re a small team of sake lovers in Tokyo who want to share it with the world. With Sake Gate, our mission is to build the biggest English-language sake database online, and we’re well on our way with thousands of bottles already in the system. We also write general guides and articles to help you learn about and enjoy sake more, whether you’re completely new to it or already a fan.
Sake has a long history and tons of flavors to discover, and we want to make that as easy and enjoyable as possible. We’re not pros, and we’re not snobs. We just genuinely enjoy sake and want to pass on what we know as we continue to learn ourselves.
